What:
Catholic Charities of the East Bay, along with Centro Legal, will be hosting a free EBNatz citizenship event on Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 10 am to 2 pm. Attached, you will find flyers for applicants. This promises to be a large event. Refreshments will be provided.

How do I sign up?

When undocumented persons are the victims of crime, assistance with filling out a form and navigating the legal process may be all they need to secure a promising future for themselves and their families: four years of legal status in the U.S. and work authorization.
This type of relief is called a U-Visa.
Join HSIR and attorneys from Bay Area Legal Aid to learn about an exciting new pilot program aimed at addressing a crucial need in our community.

So that more of members of our community can become U.S. citizens! Being a US citizen comes with several benefits to the individual and our community such as the ability to vote and travel more freely. Though these clinics, we are providing resources and access to free legal assistance which helps combat fraud in the community.
Who can volunteer:
Any and everyone who wants to volunteer can volunteer. No legal knowledge is necessary. We need volunteers to assist in a variety of capacities, including:
