Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Clinic
25 UC Hastings Students traveled to UC Santa Cruz to help UCSC undergraduate students complete their first time and renewal DACA applications.
Local attorneys and Professors Weisberg and Boswell supervised law students after reviewing intake information law students gathered from the undergraduates.

HSIR/GLO GOVERNMENT IMMIGRATION PANEL

HSIR and GLO will be co-sponsoring an informational panel with a Staff Attorney from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, an Asylum Officer and an Associate Councilmember of USCIS. This panel will discuss immigration law from the perspective of the federal government. Lunch will be provided!

Friday, September 26 at 6:00 in the LBM.
Come party with us at Cheap Prom (with streamers and all!). You get to wear the cheapest prom dress/man clothes you can find, drink our free booze, and booty dance the night away. This amazing event will be the primary fundraiser for the PILARC winter volunteer trip. Cheap Prom will take place in the LBM from 6-11 and light snacks and drinks will be included with a $10 ticket.

Friday, September 19th from 6-9 at Soda Popinski’s on 1548 California St. We will need up to six guest bartenders to work one hours shifts, arriving at 5:15 that night. All of the tips that we make that night will go directly to HSIR!
